October - December 2022

  • 10/14/2022: William was born at 6:14 am, weighing 6 lbs and 14 ounces.

  • Christmas Eve 2023: I became concerned that William was having a seizure.

  • Around Christmas Time: William stopped nursing and transitioned to a bottle. I started pumping full time with a hand pump as nothing else worked

January 2023

  • 01/15-17/2023: First intensive for Cranial Sacral Therapy in Mesa.

  • 01/19/2023: Initial meeting with the neurosurgeon at PCH, leading to an immediate CT-scan performed that same day. The neurosurgeon called us that evening with heartbreaking news that William’s brain was nothing healthy. An urgent MRI was scheduled for the next day.

  • 01/20/2023: William’s first One-Bang MRI. They told us that if something was immediately life-threatening they would call us back to the hospital. We did receive a call as soon as we left the hospital, which sent Travis and I into a fit of anxiety, but it was only the billing side of PCH.

  • 01/24/2023: First meeting with Dr. Karnik, the neurologist, resulting in William's diagnosis.

  • 01/27/2023: Initial meeting with the genetic team.
